As part of Akamai’s CSR initiative, Akamai Technologies India Corporate Social Responsibility Trust invites NGOs to submit proposals for early intervention projects addressing Intellectual Disabilities and Learning Disabilities in Tier 2 cities across India.

The aim is to support early intervention with Learning Disabilities and Intellectual Disability as focus areas.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Speech-Language Difficulty
Dyslexia
Visual Perceptual/Visual Motor Deficit
Nonverbal Learning Disability (NVLD)
Language Processing Disorder

Eligibility Criteria:

The NGO must be registered under Section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
The NGO must have an established track record of at least five years in implementing projects in the fields of disability and inclusion for CWNS (children with special needs) or related domains.
The NGO should be eligible to receive CSR grants as per the Companies Act, 2013, and its associated rules and must have a valid CSR registration number (Form CSR-1).
Geographical Relevance: Priority will be given to projects in:

Tier 2 cities: can be a pilot project or expansion of an existing project to tier 2 cities. The geographical focus is non-negotiable. To know more about Tier 2 specifications click here.

Beneficiary Focus: Proposals should target CWNS (children with special needs) between 2 - 14 years.
Project Budget: 40-60Lacs
Alignment with focus area: Projects must focus on Learning Disabilities and/or Intellectual Disability among CWNS (children with special needs) addressing specific SDGs (e.g., SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 5, and SDG 10).

Proposal Submission Guidelines

Interested NGOs are requested to submit their proposals, including the following details:

RFP Template including detailed project plan with objectives, activities, timelines, execution plan, and alignment with SDGs.
LFA Template detailing the key output, outcome and impact KPIs and targets
Budget Template detailing allocation and utilization plan.
